1. Homemade chocolate ice cream

To prepare this delicious homemade dessert, the ideal is to have an ice cream maker. This will allow you to have a firmer texture.

However, if you don’t have one, you can use your fridge or freezer very well. It will just take a little longer.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 almonds (70 g)
  • 4 chocolate bars (200 g)
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar (90 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (15 g)
  • 1/2 glass of liquid cream (100 g)
  • 2 glasses of liquid whole air (400 mL)
  • 3 tablespoons of vanilla extract (15 mL)

The preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, heat chocolate bars and milk together.
  • Let cool.
  • In a bowl, add the egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch. Mix well until you obtain a smooth cream.
  • Add the chocolate milk to the mixture prepared just before, and continue mixing.
  • Heat the mixture over low heat, being careful not to let it boil. Remove from the heat, then wait for the preparation to cool.
  • Add the liquid cream and the vanilla extract, then mix well again.
  • Put the preparation in the ice cream maker until it hardens, then add the almonds.
  • Put the ice cream in a mold which you will then put in the refrigerator, so that the mixture solidifies more.

2. Homemade strawberry ice cream

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (5 mL)

The preparation

  • In a bowl, put the vanilla extract, whole milk and evaporated milk together, then put the bowl in the freezer.
  • Once the preparation is frozen, put it in a blender to obtain a creamy mixture.
  • Gradually add the sugar so that it integrates well into the mixture.
  • Add the cornstarch and strawberries one by one until the preparation takes on a pink color.

3. Homemade Oreo ice cream 

This homemade ice cream recipe is great for kids and anyone who loves chocolate.

It’s super easy to make, and you’ll only need two packets of Oreo to flavor your ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk (397 mL)
  • 2 packets of Oreo cookies (300 g)
  • 2 cans of liquid cream (450 mL)
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract  (5 mL)

The preparation

  • First, remove the filling from the Oreo cookies (the white part), and crush the cookies (the black part). Consider setting aside a few cookies to decorate the ice cream later.
  • In a bowl, pour the condensed milk and the pieces of crushed cookies, then whisk until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Then, in another bowl, whip the liquid cream until you get a thick consistency.
  • Once it’s done, pour the thick liquid cream into the first bowl, and whip well using a spatula.
  • Finally, pour the mixture into a mold which you will then put in the freezer for 4 or 5 hours.
