They were able to observe that the level of bad cholesterol did not increase in people who ate the most cheese.
And that’s not all ! They were also able to discover that this bad cholesterol decreased in people who stopped consuming butter while consuming more cheese.
The explanation? Researchers say that it is thanks to the large amount of protein derived from calcium found in cheese, because these elements allow the body to better manage bad cholesterol.
