1. Nuggets  vegetarians  soy meat

As soon as you hear the word “vegetarian” you probably think of vegetable dishes and salads. However, we assure you that these vegetarian nuggets have nothing to envy to traditional nuggets. These soy meat nuggets are even more delicious and nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of soy meat (100 g)
  • 1/2 cup of water (100 ml)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (50 mL)
  • 4 drops of tabasco
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of pepper (7 g)
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (100 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil (45 ml)

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the soy meat, tabasco and soy sauce. Let the ingredients rest for about fifteen minutes, in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • In another bowl, mix together the egg, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture over the mixture prepared just before.
  • Add the breadcrumbs, then knead until you get a more or less solid mixture that you can handle with your hands.
  • Form the nuggets. To do this, first form balls of dough, then flatten them. Place them on a dish.
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil on a pan, then fry your veggie nuggets until both sides of the nuggets turn golden.
  • Serve and enjoy!

2. Nuggets  vegetarians  made from broccoli

Broccoli is a plant that has many properties for our body. It is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, it contains soluble dietary fiber, and helps prevent certain diseases.

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 beet
  • 1 cup of broccoli (100 g)
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt (7 g)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of pepper (7 g)
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil (60 ml)

Preparation

  • Cut all the vegetables except the bell pepper.
  • Fry the cut vegetables for about ten minutes, so that they become soft.
  • Place them in a bowl, then flatten them until you get a paste.
  • Add the bell pepper, salt, pepper and olive oil. Flatten well so that all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Store the mixture in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes while it hardens.
  • Once the indicated time has elapsed, take the mixture out of the refrigerator, then form the nuggets.
  • Beat the eggs in another container.
  • On a plate, place the breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each nugget in the egg mixture, then pass them on the plate with the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil on a pan, then fry your veggie nuggets.
  • Let cool, then serve.

3. Cauliflower and cheese nuggets

This recipe is another variation of vegetarian nuggets. You can prepare this recipe with any vegetable of your choice. The key is to mix the ingredients well and flatten them well, so you can turn them into nuggets.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cauliflower (150 g)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan
  • 1 cup of broccoli (150 g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs (150 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper (5 g)

Preparation

  • First cook the cauliflower in boiling water until soft.
  • Then mix the vegetables with the rest of the ingredients. Add the ingredients one at a time so that all the ingredients combine well.
  • First form balls of dough and then form the nuggets.
  • Then place the nuggets on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  • Let the nuggets bake for twenty minutes at 180 degrees. The nuggets should turn a golden color.
